Can I deposit my stimulus check using Mobile Deposit?

Yes you can deposit physical stimulus checks using the mobile deposit feature in our mobile app.

While checks can be deposited using the mobile deposit feature, the limit for checks using this feature is $2,500, so if you receive a check over this amount you will need to call us at 518-654-9028 or email us at info@hrccu.org in order to deposit the check. 

To perform a Mobile Deposit, you must have an HRCCU checking account, be enrolled in Online Banking, and have our Mobile Banking App downloaded. Once you have confirmed you have these items, please use the following instructions:

  1. Sign your check, and below it, write “Mobile Deposit or e-deposit” and include date and member number. 
  2. Log into your HRCCU Mobile Banking App.
  3. Click ‘Deposit’. Then click ‘Deposit Check’.
  4. Select checking account to deposit check into and type in the check amount.
  5. Continue to follow steps by taking photos and submit for processing*.

*Processing occurs Monday - Friday throughout the day until 5 pm. Deposits post to member accounts within 2-3 hours. The first $200.00 is available within 2-3 hours of processing time (the rest is on a 2 business day hold). Maximum deposit amount is $2,5000 per day. There is no limit on the number of daily deposits, as long as it does not exceed $2,500.00. Check(s) should be kept for 60 days.
